The latest Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo marks the third major iteration of the brand’s GT4 challenger since the debut of the original model in 2009. Over the years, the Vantage GT4 has become a firm favourite among competitors and fans alike, earning a reputation for performance, reliability, and style. This new-generation model retains the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged AMG-sourced V8 engine found in the latest road-going Vantage, but benefits from significant upgrades in cooling, chassis design, aerodynamics, and overall efficiency to deliver enhanced on-track performance. Developed, engineered, and built by Aston Martin Racing (Prodrive) along side its GT3 sibling, the new GT4 embodies the marque’s commitment to innovation and racing excellence. While the GT4 shares around 80% of its structural and mechanical components with the production car, it incorporates a range of motorsport-focused technologies. A Bosch Motorsport ECU with bespoke AMR-developed software enables the use of the standard eight-speed gearbox, converted to a race-ready six-speed sequential transmission by locking out the top two gears. This setup optimises engine management, fuel delivery, and turbo performance for competitive racing conditions. In terms of aerodynamics, extensive CFD testing has helped reduce drag while increasing downforce. The bodywork now incorporates sustainable natural flax-fibre composites, most notably in the redesigned front end which also features enhanced cooling solutions. Complementing this are a new front splitter and rear wing, which work together to generate improved aerodynamic efficiency. The chassis is further refined with new two-way adjustable KW dampers, delivering greater precision, control, and confidence behind the wheel.MKH took owner ship late 2024 of there new-generation Vantage GT4 and has shown strong promise in the 2025 racing season. The team have quickly adapted to the car’s capabilities, demonstrating competitive race pace and flawless reliability throughout the campaign a testament to Aston Martin’s meticulous engineering and racing pedigree.
